A New Earth
There’s nothing that offers more growth than the human experience.
Let’s face it: life is tough. It’s not easy living in this world. Doom and gloom is everywhere. Everything seems like it’s heading to a dark road.
Not to mention what we all have to go through in our personal lives.
On one level, this thinking is fair and true.
But on a soul level? You chose this earthly existence; the ups, the downs, the turnarounds. You as a soul wanted to grow and evolve. All the twists and turns are precisely why you’re here.
And what’s life without any friction and tension? A boring one.
While every person has their own unique set of life lessons, we as a human species are also here to learn something.
The nature of the universe is to grow and expand. Throughout history, humans have constantly been schooled to evolve in ways we can’t even imagine.
Sometimes it’s helpful to look at the bigger picture and reflect on where we came from.
Let’s take a short trip down memory lane.
Going back in time…
Early humans had to learn how to use basic instincts for survival—how to hunt for food, how to avoid predators, how to build shelter, etc.
Imagine the caveman: someone with little to no mind activity but somehow manages to stay alive.
Although they were below thinking, they were peaceful and lived in harmony with the natural flow of the universe, like all other living species.
This transformation continued as humans learned to communicate through voice—the beginning stages of mental awareness. Language started to develop. Knowledge and intelligence started being shared. Small family groups turned into small villages. Group and individual identity started to take form.
Along the way, the mind became more sophisticated. Complex systems, laws, and structures were being built. Smaller tribes were becoming larger civilizations. Strategic thinking was taking precedence over basic survival.
The expansion of the mind was a huge leap in our evolution. To this day, it’s been responsible for all the systems that help us live with more comfort.
But as we became more mind-centered, we also became more fear-centered.
Instead of living in harmony with nature, we now exert our power over nature. Instead of realizing our power, we give our power away to people outside of us. Instead of using our internal compass to guide us, we look to society to tell us what’s acceptable.
We can all agree killing people is intolerable and laws are necessary to support this truth. To an extent, we need the mind to navigate the world.
But to be in a constant state of fear? To be so caught up with mental gymnastics to the point of disillusionment? That’s the antithesis of our true nature.
It’s not our true nature to overthink ourselves to exhaustion. It’s not our true nature to be in perpetual fight or flight. It’s not our true nature to judge, hate, or blame. It’s not our true nature to degrade everything we touch.
Our true nature is peace. Why is that so hard to understand?
We’re on the cusp of big evolutionary changes.
Looking back on our history, it’s mind-blowing how much we’ve grown and evolved.
And we still have no idea how much potential the human spirit has. How we are now, could be so medieval compared to how we would be in the future.
With all the heaviness of the world—war, abuse, manipulation, and dysfunction—humans are ripe for a transmutation like no other.
Just as our early ancestors had to take huge leaps for the survival of the species, we too are faced with the same predicament. If we want to make it out alive, something needs to change. We either evolve or die.
Whatever the solution is, it’s not going to come from the mind. You can’t solve a problem from the same source that created it.
Our minds don’t need to be smarter or savvier. It’s already so dense with unnecessary abstractions. Being too intellectual can also hinder our ability to see clearly.
We don’t have to abandon the mind altogether. But something more powerful must supersede all the senseless problems the mind has created.
There is Only One Reality: the Reality of Unconditional Love.
When you hear the phrase ‘love is all there is’, doesn’t that resonate with you on a soul level? More so than any argument you can come up with to debunk it?
These days, love is seen as hippie nonsense: it’s not that simple. It’s a lot more nuanced than that. Don’t be so naive. That’s just new-age bullshit. Yeah but… yada yada yada.
The mind loves to deflect and make everything more complicated than it is.
But when you break it down, the truth is simple.
It doesn’t matter what you say, do, think, or feel. It doesn’t matter how you look. It doesn't matter what you identify as or what your sexual orientation is. It doesn’t matter what you do for a living or how much money you make.
The same is true with other relationships and people. It doesn’t matter what others do or don’t do. What they said or didn’t say. What they think or don’t think.
When you peel through all the layers of your so-called ‘self’, all that’s left is Love.
Of course, we need to hold ourselves and others accountable for problematic behavior.
But judging anyone as ‘bad’ only perpetuates their illness. In reality, there’s no separation between the hater and the one being hated; the accuser and the accused.
We all share the same Being. By hating another, you’re also hating yourself. If you point one finger, three more are pointing back at you.
You are me. I am you. You are the universe. The universe is you.
A Glimpse of a New Earth.
There have been small glimpses of a new vision for Earth recently. Take the counterculture movement in the 1960s. It was all about anti-war sentiments, freedom of expression, peace, and love.
Another glimpse was the end of an important cycle in the Maya Calendar back in 2012.
If you were around that year, you might’ve remembered all the doomsday prophecies about the end of the world predicted by the Ancient Mayas.
Completely misconstrued and taken too literally.
The Mayas were an advanced civilization. They were gifted astronomers and mathematicians. They created complex calendar systems that accurately predicted many natural events—the eclipse, solstice, etc. They also made the concept of zero, among other sophisticated advancements.
Most people overlook that the Mayas organized their culture around the cyclical nature of time—and it translates into their calendar. When a cycle ends on December 21, 2012, a new one begins on December 22, 2012.
Although the world didn’t literally end that year, the astrological alignments the Mayas calculated are not unimportant. Something ended, at least metaphorically. And after every ending, is a new beginning.
Something about our culture changed:
If you noticed, the media landscape shifted. Compare movies from 2010 with ones from 2013. There’s a different texture. They’ve become more emotionally and socially attuned, dare I say woke.
Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness started to become more mainstream. It’s no longer exclusive to fringe groups plugged out of capitalist society. Even the scientific community acknowledges their importance.
More people and businesses have become environmentally friendly. There’s a greater awareness of animal rights and a desire to eat healthier, thus a higher demand for vegan food and products globally.
Mental Health has gained more honor and recognition. Therapy is not only considered normal but encouraged. Back then, this topic was kept hidden in the dark.
Lastly, the entire world migrated to the Internet. Everything is more instantaneous, moving at a faster rate than ever before. Our psychic awareness has peaked to another level. Without knowing it, we’re already communicating telepathically.
Whether this cultural shift had anything to do with the Maya calendar, doesn’t matter. The world as we know it is different. The collective consciousness is rising.
On a smaller scale, there have been countless accounts of individuals who’ve had sudden awakenings. In Zen Buddhism, such mystical experience is called *satori—*an intuitive encounter with the Divine beyond logic and reasoning.
With each passing day, more people are awakening to the truth of who they are. After the devastating effects the pandemic brought in 2020, the number is just going to grow from here. Despite the wickedness of being human, something more beautiful is brewing behind the scenes.
The New Earth is the physical manifestation of Unconditional Love.
This New Earth can only come alive if there are enough people who have recognized their true nature. It can only occur when enough human egos have cracked open to the reality of Unconditional Love.
For every cause, there’s an effect. If one person shifts even just a tiny bit from Ego to Love, it will create a ripple effect so big it surpasses our limited human understanding. We’re all connected by the same cosmic thread.
Anything is possible. Do not underestimate the power of your energy. Many lives have been saved because of the power of Unconditional Love.
Every behavior is either love or a cry for love.
Sometimes folks have to hit rock bottom to be forced upon this realization. But this isn’t necessary or absolute. You can realize this right now.
If you’re experiencing high levels of stress or anxiety, these are alarm clocks telling you to wake up. If you’re heading in a direction that feels soul-sucking, that’s your intuition signaling you “wrong way.”
You are a miracle worker for our planet. If only you knew how supported you are by the invisible forces of Creation, you would surrender to Love in a heartbeat.
You don’t have to struggle. You don’t have to suffer. You don’t have to fight or compete with anyone. You don’t even have to meditate for hours on end.
You don’t have to do anything.
All you have to do is open your heart.
From there, the universe will open up to you.
Be brave enough to take that leap. Everything and everyone else will follow.
